The week of March 24-30, 2019 represents our 30th consecutive year in celebrating our profession
This celebratory week recognizes and helps raise awareness of the Health Information Management (HIM®) profession across Canada
CHIMA invites all healthcare professionals to join in the celebration and to help raise awareness of the important role the HIM® profession plays in providing quality care to Canadians

4. The Canadian Health Information Management Association and College
The Canadian Health Information Management Association represents over 5000 HIM® professionals across Canada
The Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM) is the registering and regulatory body for HIM® practice in Canada
We are committed to advocating for the critical role our the HIM® profession plays, both at the national and regional levels across Canada
We are proud of our 75+ year history and believe that the best days for the HIM® profession lie ahead
Our strategic plan charts a new course for the HIM® profession shaping the path to propel our profession forward into new opportunities
