DEMO 3 We will model an occluded front in the final demo. An occluded front occurs when a FAST moving cold front catches a SLOWER warm front. In other words, the cold air mass behind a cold front catches the cooler air in front of the warm front, causing the warm air to be “sandwiched” in between the cooler air masses. PREDICT by drawing what you expect to happen when the boundaries are released.
