Figure MRI findings revealing pituitary siderosis
(A) Coronal and (B) sagittal T1-weighted sequences showed that (1) the anterior pituitary, (2) posterior pituitary, and (3) pituitary stalk were normal. (C) Coronal and (D) sagittal T2-weighted sequences showed (1) a homogeneous hypointense signal from the anterior pituitary, which was pathognomonic of pituitary siderosis; (2) the posterior pituitary signal and (3) pituitary stalk were normal.
