3 A poor neighbourhood can mean:-
Poor access to shops, cinemas, libraries etc More crime and vandalism Nothing to do Noise and air pollution

4 Some NEIGHBOURHOODS can also mean more chance of being kept awake
at night by joy-riders, gangs, party-goers, etc.

5 WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN THIS NEIGHBOURHOOD?

6 Environment can also mean the wider area –
the neighbourhood or community in which we live.

7 POLLUTION is a general term used to describe the
spoiling of our environment

8 CARBON MONOXIDE FROM CARS
IS RESPONSIBLE FOR POLLUTING THE AIR

9 Access to Health and Welfare Services
Some people have poor health and well-being because their access to services is not as good as it should be. Why are some people unable to access health or welfare services?
