Why did the United States leave Vietnam in 1975?
The United Nations ordered the United States to leave Vietnam. The United States left after setting up a working western-style democracy. Ho Chi Minh signed a treat with the United States agreeing to a withdrawal. It became clear that the Vietnamese wanted to control their own country without foreign advisors or military.
