1. The white Ribbon Campaign

2. What is it?
The White ribbon campaign is a global movement of people working together to end domestic violence.
The campaign was intended to raise awareness about domestic violence by encouraging people to wear the white ribbon to show their support
The campaign promotes healthy relationships and gender equality.

3. The pledge
The 25thNovember to 10th December are the 16th days of action. During this time they ask people to take this pledge:
I pledge to never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.

4. How does it involve you ?
For the white ribbon campaign this year we have decided to design a tree and give leaves to each form so that you can make your pledges against domestic abuse.
The leaves will be put on the white ribbon tree; which will be displayed.
We are also selling the white ribbons at break times and also during form times next week.
