1 The T-cell response to Amb a 1 is characterized by 3 dominant epitopes and multiple MHC restriction elements  Beatrice Jahn-Schmid, PhD, Nicole Wopfner, PhD, Gudrun Hubinger, PhD, Riccardo Asero, MD, Christof Ebner, MD, Fatima Ferreira, PhD, Barbara Bohle, PhD  Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology  Volume 126, Issue 5, Pages e2 (November 2010) DOI: /j.jaci Copyright © 2010 American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Terms and Conditions

2 Fig 1 Mapping of T-cell epitopes in Amb a 1. Amb a 1–specific TCLs derived from 48 patients with ragweed pollen allergy (I 1-9 from Milan, Italy and V 1-39 from Vienna, Austria) were stimulated with 121 overlapping synthetic 12-mer peptides covering the complete sequence of Amb a 1.3 (excluding the leader peptide). Peptides inducing proliferation of a stimulation index of 3 or greater are indicated in gray, and those with a stimulation index of 5 or greater are indicated in black.
