Fig. 4 A gentamicin protection assay of S. typhimurium in Caco2, MOCK, NOD2-Caco2, and 3020insC cells was carried out. Experiments were performed in quadruplicate. The data are presented as the average %CFU (the percentage of original inoculation, mean ± SD) with untransfected Caco2 values set as 100%. Results were confirmed in 3 independent experiments.
