EXCELLENCE AT CHS Chelsea High Schools was recognized by the U.S. News and World Report in 2014 as one of the top performing high schools in the state of Michigan. This ranking placed CHS in the top 3% of all public schools in the state of Michigan as well as the top 4% nationally and earned CHS silver medal recognition for a second time in three years. For 2015, the U.S. News and World Report ranking placed Chelsea High School in the top 2% of all public high school in the state of Michigan as well as the 2% of all public high school nationally. In 2017, CHS was ranked as the #7 public high school in the state of Michigan. Over the past three years, our athletics teams have won a astonishing total of 28 SEC White titles in multiple sports and 22 MHSAA district or regional titles. Our Theater and Robotics programs continue to get larger and larger in scope and size. Our Music programs have performed in Philadelphia, New York, Nashville, China, Scotland. Mike
