2. Chinese jobs
There are lots of jobs in China. Half of China’s people are farmers. Fishing is important too. Some farmers raise fish in special ponds. They tame wild water birds called Cormorants to fish for them.

3. Exports
Chinese farmers grow many crops to feed themselves and other people around the world. (That is called an export). Tea is one of China’s exports. Chinese factory
workers make iron, chemicals, oil, and machines. China sells many
of these products including food and toys to other countries. Those are some facts about the economy in China.
