Survey on cooperation practices among Member States

3. TFCM draft report
Examines forms of cooperation at bilateral and regional level
Presents in detail existing cooperation practices within the ESS (ESSnets, Centres of Excelence, data hub, ESTP, EMOS, European User Support Network)
Also refers to cooperation examples beyond the ESS: cooperation in statistics within the global statistical system + cooperation on matters other than statistics within the EU

4. For each of the models described
The report details financial and legal instruments,
Lists the factors of success,
And makes recommendations for further improvement

5. Models meriting further reflection
Pooling of staff amongst NSIs, to enhance communication and exchange of expertise
New option of cooperation: one or several Member States carry out work on a set of statistics (or on a step in the production chain) for the benefit of all

6. What do we ask from the RDG

7. Next steps TFCM meets tomorrow to work on report
RDG comments (in writing) by mid-January
