With the global economy being adversely affected by the recession, the competition between airlines has intensified. Thus, low cost carriers (LCCs) are trying to save money by cutting down on costs. For instance, particularly in the case of many domestic flights in the United States, free onboard meal service is no longer provided.
What can you do if you’re hungry, then? Well, you can still get food in the cabin if you buy on board (BoB). Although it isn’t complimentary, the food provided onboard comes in a wide selection and is satisfying.
