6 Research and Bibliography
During the dance we all observed the participants, how they were feeling, and the energy in the room. At the beginning of the dance people were shy and obviously timid to be there. We started talking to people and welcoming them and inviting them to get pictures, but they were still shy. The moment when every took a turn is when the music started and we went out in the crowd and dancing alone or with anyone who would be willing. Once the music got the beat up people were talking, taking pictures, and the energy was alive. It really is amazing how much activity and music can change someone's mood.

7 Research and Bibliography
After the dance we made a survey for the participants to fill out so we could know about their overall experience and their thoughts of our Senior Project. We asked How was your experience? How did you feel during the event? Did you make any new friends? What is your favorite memory of the night? Anything else you would have added or changed?

8 Research and Bibliography
After the dance we also interviewed the dance instructors What do you think about the event? “The is an amazing idea, I am so glad I was a part of this.” Do you think it is important that the younger generation help their elders? “I think the young adult that were here realized what lonely it can be to be old and that is why they had fun.” What did you like about this event? “I like the idea you ladies had and how big you made this project to make sure you made a dent in this issue.” -Merril Day

15 Personal Notes- Skye Timmins
Skye: What I noted on my senior project was it was unique and different than anyone else's. I got the chance to look at my senior project as an opportunity more than just another requirement, and I am extremely blessed for that.I also got the chance to work was two adorable girls that really made this whole experience a lot smoother and gave me the chance to enjoy instead of stress. Thank you AMES, Amira, and Faby for helping me finish my high school career the right way.

16 Personal Notes- Amira Prewett
We got a lot of positive feedback from everyone throughout the night. The community was very pleased about the project and shocked that we choose to do such a big project. I was very pleased that the community was helpful and brought food and young children to dance with the senior citizens.

17 Personal Notes- Faby Rodriguez
From the start I loved the idea of being interacted with senior citizens to begin with. Not many people how lonely and abandoned our senior citizens are. I that night had a blast, even though i just had my wisdom teeth removed, i enjoyed myself. I was pleased to have such a nice guy name george teach me how to waltz and tango;which isn't a typical thing for me to do or learn. But glad i learned new things and new people.
