Figure 1 Model of METTL3-METTL14-Dependent Myeloid Differentiation in Normal and Leukemic Hematopoietic Cells METTL3 and METTL14 are highly expressed in HSCs and their expression is decreased during myeloid differentiation. In AML, upregulation of METTL3 and METTL14 results in increased methylation of their target transcripts including specific mRNAs critical for the regulation of apoptosis and differentiation.
