Friday 10/5/18 Notebook Entry: To the right is a picture of a jackal and a bird. Make a claim of what you think is going on between these two animals in the picture? What is your evidence? Reasoning? A jackal scares away a scavenging bird during a harsh Bulgarian winter. According to Your Shot photographer Sergey Zlatkov, the jackal had been feasting on a dead animal nearby, and didn't want to share.
