3 What’s EVCS? It’s a general term for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations EVCS generally expecting in every remote locations by electric vehicle owners/consumers Mainly there are two types of EVCS available in current market Fast Charger/Instant charger L2 Charger/Periodical charger

4 Why e.co invest for this seed?
By considering high use of fuel and atmospheric pollution, most developing countries encourage their citizens to use electric vehicles Government motivation on promoting E-Vehicles Electric vehicles will remarkably increase within next five years If adequate charging stations are available, consumers are ready to buy electric vehicles Unavailability of charging stations is the emerging problem in Sri Lanka

5 How e.co can be grown up this seed?
Currently e.co developing an innovative project called Multi Purpose Pole (MPP) This is one of the value added incentive investment for MPP ESLL currently implementing island wide MPP We’ve to select some important places to add the EVCS with MPP island wide

6 Do we need to get any special approval?
Sri Lankan government already privatized the EVCS No need to get any special approvals to implement EVCS CEB and LECO are providing special rate of electricity for EVCS investors Meantime given power can’t be used for any other purposes

7 What about the investment cost?
EVCS machine can be installed with approximately 1.5 million capex Electricity connection should be 63Ampires 3 phase line. This costing will depend on distance from the tapping point

8 How it will be brought benefits to e.co?
Investment plan for long term incentive Motivate the electric vehicle purchasing Company Brand image creation Additional revenue generation to the company Help green concept Will develop a goodwill with government sectors

9 What about the current market?
There are 42 fast charging EVCS and 2 periodical EVCS available in island wide Particularly there are 5500 E-Vehicles approximately in use Sri Lanka They are getting charges from 40 to 70 rupees per unit. Its depend on number of stations in particular area

10 Who are the current competitors?
Green Frontiers Biggest competitor Established 23 stations up to now Most complaints lodged due to poor services Other EVCS Not reached consumers extensively

11 What are the drawbacks in current market?
Unavailability of stations in each and every locations Poor customer services Using man power to provide the service 24*7 service unavailability Electronic payment unavailability

12 How e.co will overcome those drawbacks?
e.co will provide island wide services Self charging method 24*7 service availability Electronic payment availability through NFC and RFID

13 What about sustainability?
Expecting there will be hundred thousand electric vehicles in Sri Lanka within next five years Daily charging consumers count will be increased There are no any stronger competitors in Sri Lanka in this field e.co having the chances to become a biggest EVCS providers
