12. Accelerated decline since new NTP
Before new NTP: in 1990 the rate was 36.0 and in – the total decline was 21.4%.
After new NTP: in 1996 the rate was 28.3 and in – the total decline is 37.8%.

13. Possible mistakes
Underreporting of nonconfirmed cases: very small, due to centralisation of necessary diagnostic. Max up to 5%.
Diagnosis at death: more cases registered from death statistics than from registry statistics. Up to 50% more deaths in the old age group.
