Major Endocrine Organs: Pituitary (Hypophysis)
Pituitary gland Releases 11 hormones made by either the hypothalamus or the pituitary itself Regulates major metabolic processes on the body and other endocrine glands Growth, stress, reproductive cycles, water balance
