2 Project Overview We had a wonderful time at the Indianapolis Zoo! What a great way to end our animal project. The weather was beautiful and the kids (and chaperones) all had a terrific day! Thanks to all those that helped us make it a great day!

4 Writing Thank You Letters
I Can: Revise original drafts to improve sequence (the order of events) or to provide more descriptive detail. Use descriptive words when writing. Writing Thank You Letters This week you will be writing thank you letters to the parent volunteers that have come into our classroom and helped us this year. Please do your best work and let them know how much we appreciate their help! Tuesday: Thank you letters to parent volunteers Wednesday COLTS Camp Thursday and Friday Finish your thank you letters to our parent volunteers. Make sure you include your name so they know who it is from. Make sure you have written one for each volunteer. Include a picture if you have time. I Can: Read fluently Restate facts and recall information Self-Selected Reading / Accelerated Reader Materials Needed Data binder Book of choice Computer Noise Level 0 Choose a library book or a book of choice that you have not read. Be sure you picked a book that you can read alone. Silently read . After you finish your book, write the name of the book in your Data Binder. Be sure to fill in the information about your book in your binder. If you can answer all the questions in your Data Binder, get your laptop and log on to AR to take your test. Record your AR score in your Data Binder. .
