Problem
Users accumulate many documents and these can get unwieldy to manage
A hierarchical file system is not enough to provide a rich view of data and useful relationships between them
Approach
Goal: Provide a DBMS-like document manager package to present the user a customized view of her data
Method: Develop a semantic model for useful relationships between textual data, a simplified NLP to do basic analysis, research methods of information presentation from HCI
