1 Science Camp Chaperones
2019

2 Guidelines Students must stay with a chaperone the entire time.
Students should not be in the cabins alone. Boys should not be in girls cabins and vice versa. Students should stay with their buddies especially when going to restrooms during class or meal time. Please be sure to actively monitor your students. Do not allow students to pick up anything from the ground unless given permission by camp counselor. There are toxic plants on site. Doors lock from inside. We do not have a key to get back in if we are locked out. We will do A LOT of walking, 7-10 miles a day. Please bring comfortable shoes.

3 Guidelines Be sure to be at the meeting place on time. Being late will create a problem for the camp counselors. Please remind students to bring their science journal to all the classes except for the campfire. Please let one of the Dallas ISD teachers know if you are having any difficulty with any student. Call me for any reason Watch your belongings, we have had money stolen Chaperones can bring hair dryer To ensure equity, please don’t bring dvd players, ipads or any other electronic devices for the students to use Beds are really small Do not administer any medicine to students, including throat lozenges and baby aspirin. No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages on site

4 Guidelines Bring a sack lunch The buses will be here at 9:45 on Wed.
Please check in with the office before heading to the portables We will need help loading up the buses and monitoring the students around 9:45a You can either ride the bus with us, or follow us up to camp. Please let me know your decision by Monday evening
