The Federal TRIO Programs are educational opportunity outreach programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes six outreach and support programs targeted to serve and assist low-income,
first-generation college students, and students with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to
post-bachelor programs.

Abbeville High School ETS participants listen to a presentation during a Summer Enrichment Workshop.

Grant for 72 high school students at three area high schools: Barbour County High, Bullock County High, Eufaula High, and Abbeville High School

16. TRiO UPWARD BOUND
Upward Bound Schedule September – May Participants come to the Sparks Campus one Saturday a month from 8:00-2:00 p.m. They participate in English, math, science lab, foreign language, and computer technology classes. June-July Participants come to the Sparks Campus for a six week summer school which includes the above mentioned courses.
