1 Pre-rotation (Phase I) and post-rotation (Phase II) responses to question about being comfortable providing basic treatment to persons with disabilitiesNote: Question was worded “I am comfortable providing basic dental treatment (including examinations, preventive care, restorations, and simple extractions) for persons with disabilities.” Change in proportion: χ2 (4, N=134)=17.6, p=0.001; statistically significant. Pre-rotation (Phase I) and post-rotation (Phase II) responses to question about being comfortable providing basic treatment to persons with disabilitiesNote: Question was worded “I am comfortable providing basic dental treatment (including examinations, preventive care, restorations, and simple extractions) for persons with disabilities.” Change in proportion: χ2 (4, N=134)=17.6, p=0.001; statistically significant. Regression analysis: previous experience with PWDs was a positive predictor of comfort (R2=0.087, F (1, 79)=7.54, p=0.007; statistically significant. Darsi J. Perusini et al.
