1. Monett Student Leadership Program
The Monett Schools have partnered with CoxHealth, through the Missouri Foundation for Health funding, to continue the student leadership program for the 2018 – 2019 school year. This effort will focus on engaging student leaders in both school and community health efforts, revolving around Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities sustainability.
Students will be participating in activities such as community & City Council meetings, Jefferson City legislative trips, healthy cooking & educational classes, and a research project of their choosing. At the conclusion of the research project, the leadership students will present their finding to the Monett School Board and CoxHealth Advisory Council.
This program will be a year-long commitment, but a valuable experience. Students will meet, at a minimum, once a month after school until 4:15 pm. Students can only miss a maximum of three meetings – 2019 meeting dates are below:

November 14th
December 12th
January 16th
February 13th
March 13th
April 10th
May 8th – End of Year Celebration
Parents will be responsible for picking their child up or arranging additional transportation.
