identify ways to efficiently utilize DataDirector to answer the question “How are kids doing?” determine which DataDirector reports will most efficiently help drive principal and teacher data analysis. develop a DataDirector dashboard with widgets to help organize and access key data points.

Activity: How Are Students Doing?
It is expected that administrators will answer the question “How are students doing?” Describe what an administrator might see or hear from a teacher that successfully answers this question. What might you do or say to answer this question?

Assessment Reports Overview
District Level School Level Classroom Level Student Level

District Assessment Report
The District Assessment Report displays the buildings within the district that have administered an assessment. There is a breakdown by building and by standard.

School Assessment Report
Teacher A Teacher B Teacher C The School Assessment Report displays the teachers within a building that have administered an assessment. There is a breakdown by building and by standard. A question to ask with this report is “What were the areas of strength and weakness across our grade level or department?”

Classroom Assessment Report
The Classroom Assessment Report displays how a specific class performed on an assessment. The top portion of the report displays the class performance by standard. A question to ask with this report is “What were the areas of strength and weakness within my class?”

Classroom Assessment Report
The bottom half of the Classroom Assessment Report displays how the class performed on individual questions.

Classroom Performance Summary Report
The Classroom Performance Summary Report displays how individual students within a class performed. Teachers can see the total percent the student received as well as their performance on sections and standards within the assessment. A question to ask with this report is “What groups of students need to receive remediation within specific standards?”
