10 An GHz integrated, multi-chip downconverter designed and built at the CDL by Matt Morgan and Tod Boyd. The white substrates are thin-film Alumina filters and attenuators of NRAO design. The darker substrates are commercially available microwave monolithic integrated circuits (MMICs). The black “donuts” are coaxial feedthrus carrying the DC bias signals.
