What’s Happening in...
Reminder to send in your child’s money and permission slip for the pumpkin farm by October 6th!.
Help your child learn their lunch pin
number. It is written inside their red folder.
Our classroom treasure box is need of small toys/prizes! If you can please donate. The Dollar Tree has great party favor toys for $ Thank you in advance!
If you have any Box Tops please send them in with your child.  Our class can win a prize if we collect the most!
Please put all notes in your child’s folder.
It is helpful to review any of the letters or numbers we work on at school so your child starts becoming familiar with them. Making flashcards helps.
Don’t forget to clean out your child’s red folder each night to make sure you don’t miss any important papers.
Review the goals for the end of the quarter. Your child needs to be able to identify 26 letters, 7 sounds, identify 10 numbers, write numbers 0-9, and count to 25. They also need to be able to write their name with a capital letter at the beginning and lowercase letters for the rest of the name.
Letter recognition – We did a quick introduction to letters Uu, Vv , Ww, Xx, Yy and Zz with handwriting practice

Math – We have been working on counting to 30, recognizing and writing numbers 0-18 and counting objects.
