2 Shot Type: Establishing Shot
Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to establish the setting of the scene that is going to take place, which in this case is a basketball court

3 Shot Type: Master Shot Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to introduce the characters in the setting of the scene.

4 Shot Type: Two Shot Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to show that the two characters have an equal shot at getting possession of the ball.

5 Shot Type: Medium Shot Angle Type: Low Angle Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to make Hunter seem larger and more powerful.

6 Shot Type: Aerial Shot Angle Type: High Angle Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to show a different, clearer view of the ball going into the hoop.

7 Shot Type: Extreme Close-Up
Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to add a cool effect. It is visually pleasing to the viewer.

8 Shot Type: Over-The-Shoulder
Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to show the character getting crossed over. This shot focuses on the person dribbling.

9 Shot Type: P.O.V. Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to provide an obscure perspective and to show the ball being scored.

10 Shot Type: Medium Close-Up
Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to illustrate how hard the character is working to achieve his goal.

Angle Type: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to show the impact of the player running into the pole.

12 Shot Type: Canted P.O.V. Angle Type: Canted Purpose: The purpose of this shoot is to show the player in pain after hitting the pole.

13 Shot Type: Long Shot Angle: Eye Level Purpose: The purpose of this shot is to show vulnerability and sadness of character after defeat.

14 How does your product challenge or use conventions?
The production of these shots uses common conventions for scenes in movies or t.v. shows with basketball games in them. In the movie, The Longest Yard, they challenged the concept of using an aerial shot to establish a setting to using it for getting a clear view of the ball going into the hoop. We emulated this and it worked extremely well. Otherwise, every other convention wasn’t challenged but used as intended.

15 How did your production skills develop during this project?
During the project, I learned how to hold the camera properly and I got better at editing photos in terms of contrast of colors and brightness to make a photo look better and more clear.

16 How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online- in this project?
We used my phone, an iphone 6s, to take all the photos because it had the best resolution camera. We also downloaded an app that let us edit the photos to make them look even better.
