Let them think about this one. Its important that we know. Do you love math? YOUR OPINION MATTERS Do you hate math? Maybe youre somewhere in between? Pick one.

Either have students take turns putting a tally mark on the board, or just ask each student their opinion and mark it using interwrite. Then go back and change the tally marks to numbers. Take a picture of it with your snipping tool. You will use it later on slide 9. FREQUENCY TABLES

Point out difference between categorical vs. numerical data. Notice I didnt ask you for a NUMBER! CATEGORICAL vs. NUMERICAL I just asked you to pick a CATEGORY! Whats your pain level? Whats your test grade? Whats your IQ? How many questions did you get right? Love? Hate? or Whateves?
