General Requirements: Trade
Each Trade/School has its own specific academic requirements. English: English studies12 Math: Program Dependent: Foundations, Pre-calculus, Workplace Math 11 Physics : Is recommended for some apprenticeship programs ( ie. electrician, gas fitting, plumbing) Pre-test: English, Math, and/or Mechanical reasoning tests. May be required by students currently completing pre-requisites.

English language requirement Quantitative and analytical skills requirement A minimum of 5 approved Grade 12 courses Admission is based on two lists of approved grade 11 & grade 12 courses for each program/faculty: List A: includes grade 11 and grade 12 courses required/recommended for the program List B: includes additional approved grade 11 and grade 12 courses Online/distance education courses must be 100% complete by January 31, 2020.

DL Courses: SFU: 100% complete by January 31 of graduation year UBC: 100% complete by Feb 1 of grad year to be considered for admission Challenge Exams: UBC will consider Challenge exams to meet admission requirements only, these courses may not be used as part of the GPA for admission Repeated Courses: Some Ontario Schools will only accept 1st attempts
