2. A famous quote reminds us that we can all do something to make a difference:
“I am only one,
but I am One.
I cannot do everything,
but I can do Something.
And I will not let what
I Cannot do interfere with
what I Can Do.”
This reminds us that there is something that everyone of us can do to make a difference in the lives of some of our fellow students.

3. Did you know that many families in our school district struggle to feed their families? For that reason, our school district has a backpack program, which sends non-perishable food home with students on Fridays (or the last day of school that week) to help those families.

4. From November 1st to November 22nd, we will be collecting non-perishable food. The food can be brought to your fifth period OLWEUS class. When the food drive is over, we will donate all of the food to the Watertown City Schools Backpack Program.

5. Here are some ideas for food products that you can bring:
Boxed rice or macaroni and cheese dinners
Ramen noodles
Canned soup
Oatmeal packets
Canned sauces
Peanut butter
Jelly (Try to get plastic jars, if possible)
Anything else that is non-perishable

6. Our goal is to get one item for each student that is currently registered at WHS. That would give us more than 1000 items to donate. Please help if you can and if you can bring more than one item, please free to do so.
