Ask the children to write down the number of people that they think they see very quickly, the people will then disappear.
Based on the number they estimated, this would possibly change their answers.
Ask inverse questions…. Tell me how many arms you think there might have been. How many people must this be and whey? Repeat for arms and legs. 68
