11 Circle Map: Magazine Activity (if time)
Supplies: 1 magazine, 1 pair of scissors, 1 sheet white paper Directions: (I would demonstrate on the white board) Write attitude in the middle of the paper & draw a circle around it. Draw a frame and write on the top of the frame: A POSITIVE ATTITUDE CAN LOOK AND SOUND LIKE: Draw a large circle that almost touches the frame, but doesn’t. Teacher: Flip through magazine and quickly find examples of positive attitude to show class how quick and easy it is to find examples. Give students 20 minutes to quickly flip through magazine and cut out words, images, pictures, and/or phrases that represent a POSITIVE attitude. Glue examples onto circle map T
