The diligent exertion of a Christian is characterized as:
“Work of faith” (cf. Jas. 2:14-20; 1:25; Eph. 2:10) “Labor of love” (cf. 2:9; Heb. 6:9-12; Gal. 5:13) “Steadfastness of hope” (cf. Rom. 8:24-25) When one is truly converted: His heart and entire life is changed by the gospel His hope and entire being is fixed on Christ

The faithful endurance of a Christian:
Imitates Christ (cf. 1 Pet. 2:21-23) Obeys through affliction (cf. 2:14; Acts 17:5-9; 2 Tim. 3:12) Maintains a spirit of joy (cf. Acts 16:25; 5:41) When one is truly converted: He will love the gospel more than life itself He will trust the power of the gospel more than self He will give his all in service to the gospel

The worthy example of a Christian:
Is to be evident to all (cf. Phil. 2:15) Is to point people to the Lord and His Word (cf. Matt. 5:16) Is to manifest a complete turn & service to Christ (cf. Ac. 15:3) When one is truly converted: He will make wholesale changes in every part of his/her life He will unashamedly live as a citizen of heaven He will readily enslave himself to the one true God

True conversion requires repentance (Acts 3:19) True conversion requires confession of faith (Rom. 10:9) True conversion requires baptism (Acts 2:38) True conversion results in forgiveness of sins (Acts 22:16) True conversion results in being added to the church (Ac. 2:47) True conversion results in enrollment in heaven (Heb. 12:23) True conversion requires faithful living (Rev. 2:10)
