Evaluation Writing and Representing 45% (major assessments & tests:25%; research: 10%; minor assignments & quizzes: 10%) Speaking and Listening 20% (major assessments:15%; minor assignments: 5%) Reading and Viewing 35% (major assessments & tests: 25%; minor quizzes/journals 10%) There are no examinations in this course. A one hour unit test will be scheduled during the midyear and final exam timetables. All other unit tests are written during class time.

Evaluation: Reader’s Theatre (for some) Journal Entries/Worksheets Unit Test – Jan. exam timetable * terms * short answer questions * multi-paragraph response
