a paid form of communication from an identifiable source, delivered through a communication channel (TV, Print, Internet), and designed to persuade the viewer/audience to take some action, now or in the future

Teens are the fastest growing consumer demographic, spending billions ($150 billion to be exact) of dollars each year, and thus commanding the attention of many companies and advertisers.
