Graphing Pictures on the Coordinate Plane
Using Microsoft Paint and Office 2013

Go to Microsoft Paint (Do a search on your PC)

From the Home menu select Paste From...

Select the picture you want to draw
and click on Open.

Click on Start and bring up MS Word.
Center your drawing on the screen. Click on Start and bring up MS Word.

From the Insert menu select Table, Insert Table .

Try 35 columns and 30 rows.

From the View menu select
Zoom.

Try 170%.

The idea is to fill your screen with the grid...
before you click Control-Print Screen on the keyboard... which places your grid on the clipboard.

Restore Microsoft Paint

Select, Transparency Selection from the Select menu.

Select Paste from the Edit menu.

The result is a grid superimposed over your drawing.
The grid can be moved to suit you.

Use lines from Autoshapes to draw x- and y-axes.
Be sure to follow one of the lines of the grid as you create the axes.

Type your name on the grid.

Print the gridded picture. Be sure to include your name.

Open a new worksheet in Microsoft Excel

Select X-Y Scatter Chart Type
