Implementation of QA policy and procedures in Montenegro is being promoted by responsible bodies (Ministry of Education, Council for Higher Education, just-established Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and higher education institutions are encouraged to implement Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG)
When it comes to evaluation and assessment of study programs, the process is quite different at different institutions.

At UDG we are focused on the development of culture of quality from the very first day. During 2017 we established new framework for quality assurance system which is based on UDG core values defined in our Almanac of studies, but also follows all ESGs.
Within new QA system we developed information system which supports quality assurance system and enables generating and gathering different quantitative and qualitative data, defining indicators through statistical recording of certain data based on existing information system input, or questionnaires filled in by those who fulfill certain criteria which can be defined in advance.

UDG quality assurance framework enables the following:
More efficient management of all teaching, research and other processes at UDG and its units;
Objective evaluation of efficiency and monitoring of results of individual UDG units in accomplishing their mission and established goals for development defined by the Almanac and other strategic documents;
Establishment of an efficient system for systematization of data for effective institutional goverance and for the needs of periodic external evaluations according to European standards for quality assurance.

8. Indicators Of New Quality Assurance System
Almanac indicators, which represent a unique set of indicators which reflect the specificity of study model at UDG, developed in accordance with the recommentadions during Comission’s visit at UDG;
Quantitative statistical indicators needed for a more efficient institutional goverance, and at the same time needed for periodic external evaluations in accordance with European standards for quality assurance.
