1. Mental Capacity Act and DoLS
For any staff that require an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act.

2. This course This course is split into four sections:
Section 1 – Mental Capacity Act
Section 2 – DoLS
Test 1 – Mental Capacity Act
Test 2 – DoLS
However please note that at present the DoLS section and DoLS test are under development. This course will therefore focus on Mental Capacity Act only.

3. Section 1 – Mental Capacity Act

From here you can navigate to the smaller sections that make up the MCA training by clicking on the relevant box.

4. Section 1 – Mental Capacity Act
To come back to the previous screen, click on the Home icon at any point within the training.
Click on Next to move to the next slide. At the end of each section, the Next button will move you to the next section.

5. Completing the Course Example Course
Once you have completed all six smaller sections, come back to OLM and complete the test:
Remember to click the ‘home’ icon when you have finished the test to save your results!
