Unique Selling Points Education is the primary focus.
Inclusion of best education resources – AET, BBC, British Red Cross, Public Health, Frank and others. Working together we have forged strong partnerships, from schools to independent retailers. We have brought about a change in attitude, amongst young people, towards alcohol. I am pleased to report an 80%+ reduction in seized alcohol along with a reduction in alcohol related disorder. This change has created a safer stronger community for all to live, work and play within.” Sergeant Mark Pickavance, Portobello Police Station, Edinburgh

“Our local CAP has seen significant results in its short time: there’s been a 17% reduction in alcohol related anti-social behaviour in just 2 years. I was impressed by the change they are reporting in their peer group. It’s not about not drinking at all, but being able to talk openly about alcohol and make informed decisions. CAP provides a great example of how agencies can work together, pooling their resources, ideas and knowledge to make positive, identifiable changes in our local community ” Tommy Sheppard, MP for East Edinburgh (2016)
