1 Peter 4:9 Hospitality, φιλόξενος, (philoxenos) “love of strangers” (Vine’s) It is extending kindness to another, “giving or affording a generous welcome” We must be hospitable – Romans 12:13, Hebrews 13:2. (1 Tim. 3:2 – elders.)

1 Peter 4:10 Verb form (διακονέω, diakoneō) of same Greek word as “deacons” - One who serves, gives attention to the needs of another Galatians 5:13 “As good stewards” 1 Peter 4:11, Hebrews 6:10 We are the family of God!

Forgiving One Another Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13
A word meaning to generously forgive. A form of the word for “grace”. Colossians 2:13, Christ forgave us! Matthew 6:12-15, 18:21 (22-35) – how we forgive, is how we will be forgiven!
