2 Adjectives and adverbs are both modifiers.
Remember, an adjective describes a noun or a pronoun. An adverb modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. Sometimes, adverbs are recognizable because they end in –ly.

3 Remember: When you use well to refer to health, well is an adjective.
Remember also that a predicate adjective follows a linking verb. It modifies the subject, which is always a noun or a pronoun.
