Academy Fundraiser Come to Dave & Busters today 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm! 10% of proceeds go toward JMRHS Academy.

2 Attention Seniors Cap & Gown Orders must be placed by April 1st for guaranteed delivery by graduation.  Orders placed after April 1st will be subject to availability. 

3 We will enter your name in a drawing!
Attention Seniors We need to know what scholarships you’ve been awarded? Please bring your acceptance letter to guidance or it to We will enter your name in a drawing!

4 Art Auction The Spanish National Honors Society and Multicultural Club. We will have an Art auction/sale on the Week of April in the commons area. Please bring your art and you will receive half of the price. See Mrs. Henry in room 302.

5 Fashion Show Apparel classes are hosting a fashion show in the auditorium on April 25th. All proceeds will benefit the track team. There will be a $3 admission for students and parents.

6 FCA/YCI Come out and join our Bible club, FCA/YCI, that meets every Wednesday morning at 6:30am in the Main Gym. All are welcome!

7 Our 2016-2017 film festival is April 11th.
Prepare your movies to submit for great prizes! It’s 5 dollars per submission.

8 French Club All French Club members who have not picked up their club tee shirts need to go by Ms. Hauser's room this week and pick them up before Friday!

9 Key Club Key Club students attended the annual district convention this past weekend. For the first time in JMRHS history, one of our members was elected to serve as the District Governor.  JMRHS was also represented with the election of a District Editor, and a graduating member received a scholarship for $1,000.  Please join me in congratulating Ms. Rush and her outstanding Key Club students.

12 Prom Prom is May 13th at Gibson Mill cost is 50 dollars per person and will go on sale in April.

13 Senior Shout Out Congratulations to Kemryn Allen-Perry who was awarded the Cabarrus County First Generation Scholarship.

14 Soccer Shirts are on sale with Mr. Spinell for $9.

15 Student Council Student Body Elections will be held during all lunches on Friday March 31st.

16 Talent Show 10th Annual Talent Show will be on April 13th 6-8 pm in the school auditorium.

17 Test of Time Congratulations Grady Price for building “The wall that stands the test of time“. This is an example of when “Learning is constant. Time is variable" .

18 You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.
Theatre Presents You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. April 6-8th In the auditorium. Tickets are 7 dollars.

19 Theatre Scholarship The Cabarrus County Theatre Scholarship is available for application. Applications are due in April.

20 Throwback Thursday Send your throwback pictures to or bring them to room 912 to have them appear on our announcements.

23 Tonight’s Sports Track has a meet. Baseball and Softball home games against Central have been moved to tonight. Soccer plays Central on May 2nd.

24 Tennis Congrats to the men's tennis team. They added 2 more wins this week over NW Cabarrus and Hickory Ridge to move to 8-0 on the season. Winning matches for the Bulldogs were Nolan Martino, Cole Teal, Clay Teal, Chris Greer, and Tristan Moore.

25 The lady bulldogs defeated West Rowan 10-1 on Wednesday night.
Women’s Soccer The lady bulldogs defeated West Rowan 10-1 on Wednesday night. Scoring goals were: Lauren Rector 4, Chemaiya Jordan 2, Giselle Sorlano 2, Lindsey Elias 1, and Madi Kirkman 1. Assisting on the goals were: Paige Manzi 3, Chloe Brown 2, Meaghan Puskar, Landree Lamb, Rector, Elias, and Kirkman all added 1 each.
