Picture Word Hunt Kindergarten/1st Grade Directions: Print out the pictures and alphabet recording sheet (I laminate the pictures for ongoing use). Each student picks a picture and takes an alphabet recording sheet. He/she circles objects in the picture and writes down the word in the box of the beginning sound. teachtank.org

Directions: Choose a picture. Circle things you see in the picture (ex: a sun). Decide what letter the word starts with (ex: “sun” starts with ‘s’). Do your best to write the word in the letter-box that it starts with (ex: “sun” would go in the ‘s’ box). EX: teachtank.org
