Activity Polish Songs Sto lat! Sto lat! Teacher notes
At the start of the chapter, the soldiers sing songs to pass the time. As the chapter is about knees, we will learn how to sing Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in Polish. We will also learn a very traditional Polish birthday song. Everyone in Poland knows this song and it’s a great one to use for class birthdays and a change from the familiar Happy Birthday song!

As this chapter is called, “The wrong knees”

Now, let’s learn a famous Polish birthday song called Sto lat.
Sto lat means 100 years. Sto = 100 lat = years Click on the image to learn and sing along!
