Set up a laboratory gasifier system for students to test various alternative biomass fuels such as yard waste and tree trims.
Study agricultural residues including corn stover as a possible alternative to wood chips.
Study the economic, environmental and social impact of renewable energy.
Renewable energy demonstration by students in communication studies, music , theater and arts.
Work with regional schools in terms of science, mathematics, engineering and technology (STEM) education.
Hold renewable energy competition for high school students.
