2 What is peerScholar? Online peer evaluation tool that helps develop your creative and critical thinking skills peerScholar is an online pedagogical tool that helps you develop your critical and creative thinking skills through a peer evaluation process.

3 3 Stages: How does it work? Writing Evaluation Reflection
It facilitates this through a series of 3 stages: 1. writing 2. evaluating 3. reflecting In Phase 1: Writing When you login, you will be presented with an assignment and instructions for completing that assignment . You will be required to complete that assignment within the time provided by your instructor. Phase 2: Evaluating Once the writing phase is complete, you can begin phase 2. The first time you log into peerScholar within Phase 2, you will see your own submissions presented alongside those of a set number of their peers (the number of submissions presented is determined by your instructor) . These peer submissions are anonymous. During the evaluation phase, you must review your peers’ work and provide them with an evaluation and some critical feedback. Phase 3: Reflecting As soon as the evaluation phase closes, you can can log back into peerScholar and immediately receive your peers’ evaluations and written feedback. 3
