After Completion of the ToR (end of September), the following have been implemented
Commissioned 17 studies
5 are completed (Population dynamics, Value Chain Analysis, and Science & Technology, HIV and AIDS, Youth Entrepreneurship)
12 studies are still ongoing
In response to MKUZA process, UNESCO has sponsored a study on “Conservation of Stone Town”

9. Emerging Issues (1)
MKUZA II should be ready in time so as to inform the next Budget Cycle.
Regular capacity building arrangements to the DT is necessary ( in harmonising cross cutting issues, e.g. population issues, HIV and AIDS; and in understanding the modified structure of MKUZA II (Core Cluster Strategies Vs Intervention Package).
