Presenting your work neatly is good preparation for exams, where excellent presentation is required at all times.
Demonstrates the correct attitude to learning towards your work.

2. Top-tips for keeping your exercise book well-presented
Title and Aim/LOs should be underlined with a ruler
Date and titles should be written on the top of the page
Work should be written in black / blue pen (preferably black) and drawings / diagrams drawn with a pencil.
Key Information pages should be used to record key vocabulary, methods, formulae, skills etc.

3. Top-tips for keeping your exercise book well-presented
Mistakes should be crossed out with a single line
Pages should be numbered and a contents page built at the front of your book
All sheets should be stuck or tagged into your book
Learning logs may be included at the back of your book to show marked work, grades and areas to improve.

Work from the previous lesson that has been finished should be underlined.
No graffiti in exercise books or on their covers.
Cover your books to keep them looking tidy.
Work folders given to you in lessons are school property and often have to be sent away to moderators. You must not graffiti on these folders.
