“Any principles or precepts that guide an organisation throughout its life in all circumstances, irrespective of changes in its goals, strategies, type of work, or the top management.”
Competencies: “A cluster of related abilities, commitments, knowledge, and skills that enable a person (or an organization) to act effectively in a job or situation.”

3. Main uses
Individual level: map current level of experience & plan future learning
Service level: identify strengths in the team and future needs when recruiting
Commissioner / funder level: to articulate the expertise of occupational therapy personnel at different career levels
As a Profession: to emphasise the range of skills we have, to articulate our right to apply for range of jobs and to promote occupation-centred identity
Hi can we change commissioner/ funder to service lead/ commissioner. Neither of those two words would fit our service model, nor the other two countries, but if we can identify the service lead that would fit for the other three countries outside England, but also enables me to make the link for the social care one to the service leader/ manager who will be using this. IO know you may mean service level to be the service lead, but within the team may indicate with in the OT team or MDT- and I mean the ‘leader, where we have no commissioning function.
